1. In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products? (i.e of film openings)

Our opening sequence is different and slowed down by a large amount. it shows the characters with there 'trademark sound' and a random background of a well known place.

This film is called Mazground, based on the king of the playground, Maz.
the location is in a school playground leading to a forest close by

It is all using physical characters and stop motion with the movement.

We worked on i stop motion to record this, one slide at a time, then moved it on the
final cut to change speed and edit credits and sound.

The style and background of the titles is random and also the text, this is what we believe interest children.

The story is a rivalry between the king and the evil Carl. We start with characters introductions and also intro's to producers etc.

The opening easily presents that the genre is a rivalry between two main people as the dragon roars then Carl follows him with stealth.

How does your opening sequence develop or challenge the conventions of an opening sequence?

Does your use of conventions indicate that other opening sequences have influenced your work?
If so, then be specific with examples.
